A factbox on the life and career of Pierre Trudeau that appeared in yesterday’s paper said incorrectly that when Trudeau’s Liberals won the federal election in 1968 it was the party’s first federal-election majority win since 1958. In fact, the previous Liberal majority win was in 1953.
