A Monday Calendar item in yesterday’s paper about singer-songwriter Kate McGarrigle’s funeral mistakenly showed a photo of Anna McGarrigle, her sister.
A photo caption in Saturday’s paper incorrectly identified actor Michael Douglas as his father, Kirk Douglas.
An article and headline in yesterday’s paper stated that teaching assistants at the Université de Montréal had voted to approve pressure tactics in their dispute with university management. In fact, it was lecturers that had approved the tactics.
A photo on the editorial page misidentified hockey player Mikael Tam.
The Gazette regrets the errors.
